We design and deliver protective solutions tailored to site conditions, the function of the facility, and the required level of autonomy. Within “Shelter Construction,” we offer two approaches: building modular shelters from scratch and modernizing and upgrading existing shelters. Choose the path that best fits your situation.
In practice, the key question is whether the facility will be built from the ground up or whether you are working with existing infrastructure (a basement, underground garage, shelter, or technical facility). Below you will find a brief comparison and links to detailed information.
FORORAK modular shelters are prefabricated steel segments that can be combined into larger layouts—from a compact private shelter to expanded complexes for companies and institutions. This solution works best where predictable parameters, fast implementation, and future expandability matter. We design the modules around the target equipment (ventilation, power supply, communications) so the entire system operates as one integrated whole.
Modernization transforms an existing facility into a functional protective space that meets today’s safety and usability requirements. It includes, among other things, sealing and hardening, modernization of installations, retrofitting with air protection systems (NBC/CBRN), backup power, fire protection solutions, as well as habitability and communications components. This approach is chosen by investors who want to use existing space and reduce the scope of heavy construction works.
In both implementation paths, equipment is critical — especially air protection systems, backup power, and fire protection solutions. If you want to go directly to the systems, see the “Shelter Equipment” section.
